Heather and I at Ikea.
Shopping for her baby, yay!
Sunday night cinnamon rolls.
Is it ok that I ate these for dinner? (don't answer that, Mom)
I made them using this scone recipe, minus the chocolate chips. Instead of shaping the dough into a disk, I rolled it in a rectangle, spread it with softened butter, then sprinkled it generously with a mixture of white sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cut into 10 rolls, baked in greased pans at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes, then iced with a cream cheese frosting. Eaten immediately, hot from the pan. They were freaking amazing. I will now be forced to look down on all other cinnamon rolls.
Not pictured:
- meeting Pioneer Woman! (more about this to come)
- awesome front desk girl at our hotel who gave us free juice
- crashing on my couch and taking a 3 hour nap
- wondrous steaks with Cory's mom
- missing my mother, and being glad she is coming to visit this week
Stay tuned later today for a surprise!

oooo I like that timer! I'm going through Anthropologie withdrawls after leaving the one that was 5 minutes from my house in CA.
You and Heather are so beautiful!
So are your cinnamon rolls...
:)
So that is what an Anthropologie store looks like. I've only seen the catalog.
I've never made cinnamon rolls with our scone recipe - good idea!
I'd forgotten that we talked about putting flowers on the back of the chair where the cane was broken. It really look great!
Can't wait to see you :)
Beautiful picture of you two! And although you did not elaborate on the front-desk-girl-free-juice situation, I have a feeling that somehow the dialogue may have been similar to this...
Heather: "So I'm pregnant and swelling..."
Desk Girl: "Have some free juice!"
That's how I saw it in my head when I read that part anyway... :)
