Salted Caramel Butter Bars

I spotted these salted caramel butter bars on Pinterest a few months ago, and had been waiting for a excuse to make them. I finally got the chance last weekend for the girls trip, and am pleased to report, they are just as wonderful as I had hoped. They're like a soft shortbread sandwiched with salted caramel... mmmmm, so good! Definitely rich, these bars are best served in small squares.
