My Wedding: The Venue

In celebration of our five year anniversary, I'd like to share some photos from my wedding. Cory and I were married June 25, 2006 at Shea's Theater in Buffalo, NY. Best day ever.

5 years ago, I had never even heard a wedding blog or an inspiration board. My mom and I planned the wedding together, utilizing our own creativity and a few ideas pulled from magazines. Looking back, there are a few things I would do differently now that my personal style has developed further, but overall, the wedding was absolutely perfect and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.

Shea's Theater is a gorgeous old place, with lots of history and fantastic architectural details. It really set the tone for the wedding, and because of it's character, we decided to go with a sort of old Hollywood theme.
