My recap of Courtney's wedding continues with a look at some of the details. (See the first post here.)
Annie's amazing flowers added the perfect woodsy feel, and she tucked in gold skeleton leaves for a touch of elegance.
The decor included about a million candles, bits of moss, and wood slices. We used these on just about every surface, and they made the whole evening sparkle. There were also crystals woven into grapevine, brown velvet ribbon, pink japanese lanterns, and some Hello Kitty toasting flutes (just for the bride, or course).
The guests were served an amazing meal, followed by an array of sweets: chocolate wedding cake, white groom's cake, cheesecake with berries, a candy buffet, and cotton candy. The wedding cake was modeled after this woodgrain masterpiece, and was as delicious as it was lovely. The cotton candy was a special request of the bride, and it was such a hit! Just about everyone was walking around with a pink fluffy cone. The candy buffet featured different pink and chocolate candies, showcased in glass apothecary jars. Glassine bags and pink labels were on hand for the guests to create their own favors.
You can see some of our inspiration for the wedding on our Pinterest board. Here's how all the little details turned out!
I included the photo of Cory and his little cousin because they were a big part of the day, as they always are. ;-D
Next up, portraits!
